Born and raised in California, Dr. Khokhar’s journey in medicine has been driven by her passion for serving diverse communities and her commitment to social justice in healthcare.
Dr. Khokhar chose family medicine because of her genuine interest in working with patients across all age groups, from newborns to the elderly. She has a particular fondness for geriatric care, pediatrics and obstetrics, appreciating the unique challenges and rewards each of these areas brings. Throughout her medical training at Touro University California, College of Osteopathic Medicine, Dr. Khokhar distinguished herself academically, scoring in the top 16 percent of her class in key medical courses. Her commitment to excellence continued into her residency at San Joaquin General Hospital, where she served as chief resident and was recognized as the Resident Teacher of the Year by Touro University.
